Especially because modders make a lot of people's favorite parts of the game, or sometimes even keep the game playable. It seems like to not care that so many artists are losing access to any meaningful way to monetize their work, is also very harmful. I'm not a modder but I am an artist and it seems like a similar issue that I and many of my friends have faced where lots of people enjoy the work that someone does but they don't really care how long it takes them or if the artist has their basic needs covered at the end of the day. Popular websites such as The Sims Resource, Mod The Sims, and Tumblrs Sims 4 CC community are excellent sources for discovering a vast collection of Alpha CC. It's really not okay what happened with people's information being passed around and I don't want to make it seem like it is, but I don't really see how early access was hurting anyone, or how making the TOU even more strict while offering minimal enforcement will help. I totally understand why people are upset at people who had permanent paywalls, but from my perspective not that a high percentage of modders did that.
